SANJAY PANDEY

Mr Sanjay Pandey is Executive Director of Yuganter. Having served with inter- governmental organizations UNICEF as well as agencies as  ActionAid, Project Concern International ,he has been a disaster expert of great repute in Bihar. His areas of interest include DRR, building resilience to multi-hazards, developing a special module for the task force, SRH issue, developing livelihood options for the marginalized sections with a special focus on advocacy and awareness as per the UN Charter and SENDAI Framework. He has previously been involved in the preparation of DRR Roadmap 2015-30 in Bihar. Mr Pandey played a key role in the rehabilitation of thousands of people displaced in the 2008 Kosi tragedy. He has been awarded M. Phil from Delhi University.

PALAK

Palak is an Administrative Officer at Yuganter. Her areas of interests include mobilizing women belonging to marginalized sections and making them aware of SRH issues apart from DRR measures in building resilience to multi-disasters. She has graduated in Social Work. She is steering SRH issue as part of her endeavours to contribute towards women empowerment.

PANKAJ KISHOR

Pankaj Kishor has completed his Post-Graduation in Rural Development and Governance. He has around 10 years of experience in the development sector. His areas of expertise are livelihood creation through micro-entrepreneurship development, women empowerment and strengthening sustainable community institutions. He has technical experience in management of grassroot development project, team management and M&E of development program too.

AMAR KUMAR SHARMA

Amar Kumar Sharma is a Programme Manager at Yuganter. A journalist by education, he holds Master’s Degree in English from Annamalai University followed by PG Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, New Delhi. His research urges include government policies over DRR, SRH issues, upliftment of marginalized sections, devising non-livelihood options and social inclusion. Since July 2021, Mr Sharma has been spearheading the dissemination of flood early warnings in flood-prone areas in Bihar and brainstorming on developing an effective module to mitigate multi-hazards accordingly. He has previously been associated with Dainik Jagran and played a key editorial role.

SHASHI RANJAN SINGH

Shashi Ranjan Singh is a Finance Officer at Yuganter. Being a keen observer of the nitty-gritty of financial matters, he looks after the pros and cons of the accounts section of the institution. He did his Graduation in Commerce followed by LLB from Magadh University.Bihar.

VIJAY KUMAR UPADHYAY

Vijay Kumar Upadhyay has over two decades of experience in the areas of rural development, disaster management and entitlement of marginalized communities. He has completed his MA from Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga University followed by PG in Disaster Management from IGNOU. He has worked under Bihar Koshi Punarwas Awam Punarnirman Society (flood recovery project) and many national and international NGOs like Plan India, Project Concern International, etc.

RASHI JHA

Rashi Jha is a budding community mobilizer at Yuganter. She has a great sense of mobilizing communities particularly marginalized sections and inculcating DRR measures in them. Having flair for writing, she contributes actively in the documentation of the office work. She has completed her Graduation in English from Patna University.

SHYAMNANDAN KUMAR

Shyamnandan Kumar is a community mobilizer at Yuganter. He strives hard to mobilize people and aware them of various DRR measures to mitigate multi-disasters including urban flood, fire, lightening, road accidents, earthquakes, heatwave, coldwave and COVID. He plays an important role in organizing trainings for marginalized sections. He did his Graduation in Economics from Magadh University..

ANITA SINHA

Anita Sinha is a community mobilizer at Yuganter. Having 10 years of experience with a prestigious public school, she has the expertise of mobilizing and convincing people. She helps women address SRH issues. She has completed her Graduation in Sociology from Magadh University.rs in Bihar.

SONI DEVI

Soni Devi has completed her BA in Home Science from Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. She has three years of work experience as a community mobilizer. She has expertise in areas of women empowerment, SRH issues and the formation of women’s Self-Help Group.

SANTOSHI RANI

Santoshi Rani is an enthusiastic frontline health worker having four years of experience in motivating women in addressing family health issues. She believes in self-motivation for delivering arduous health services for marginalized women.
