Yuganter embarked on its journey at the crucial stage of Disaster Risk Reduction ideation fuelled by pragmatism way back in 2008 when Bihar was deeply engulfed with hydrological disaster. Since then, Yuganter has been effectively playing a seminal role in geological, hydrological, meteorological and biological disaster mitigation through advocacy, analysis and application of DRR measures apart from extending strategic and visionary support to the authorities in overcoming this menace and building resilient communities.
